Apple Jack Orchards
Our Story
Back in 1983, “Apple” Jack Kelly filled his wagon with the apples from his 250 apple trees…
… and headed down to the side of the road to sell them. People loved them and bought them all.
Soon, he planted more trees. And he had a wonderful orchard. And the people kept coming.
Then Jack’s daughter Kit and her husband, Mike Dekarski took over. And planted many, many more trees. And found a brilliant guy named Tom to take care of them. And a wonderful baker named Terese, to turn them into magic.
The orchard and bakery grew. And became a grand tradition. With 10,000 trees, and over 29 different Minnesota varieties of apples. We added a market. And Terese baked a LOT of pies, crisps, donuts, and other yummy treats every morning. And the people kept coming.
We hope you will too!
